Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
I understand that yoga, meditation, sound healing, reiki, and other holistic healing services may involve physical movement, sound vibrations, breath practices, and relaxation techniques. As with any physical or wellness activity, there may be risks of injury or discomfort.
By signing up for this class or event, I agree to the following:
I take full responsibility for my own wellbeing during and after participation.
I will listen to my body and may stop or modify any activity at any time.
I release Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, its owners, teachers, and staff from any claims of injury, accident, or harm that may result from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.
I understand this program or class is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment. I understand that the use of the word “healing” is in the context of general wellness and is not a claim or promise to heal any medical diagnoses.
I understand that these practices may bring up physical sensations or emotional responses which could be uncomfortable or distressing.
I understand that participation is always voluntary — I may pause, modify, or leave at any time.
I understand that these practices are not medical treatment, physical therapy, or psychotherapy.
If I have medical or mental health concerns, I will consult with my provider before participating.
I agree to inform the class leader if I have any conditions that may be impacted by physical movement, sound, or vibration (e.g., pregnant, recent surgery, injuries, chronic pain, physical limitations, epilepsy, hearing sensitivities, pacemaker, PTSD, neurodivergence (such as Autism or ADHD). However, I understand that the class leaders are not medical professionals, and it is my responsibility to work with my medical professional team to determine if it is safe for me to participate in holistic healing services.

Conduct
Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center is proud to consider ourselves an inclusive space, and we are proudly LGBTQIA+ affirming. We understand that healing happens when we feel safe, and thus we take our responsibility to provide a safe space to all seriously.
❌ No hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language or behavior based on race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, gender expression, ability status, religion, spirituality, or any other identity will be tolerated.
❌ Use of cellphones and recording devices of any kind during classes is strictly prohibited.
🚭 No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on the premises.
Please take necessary steps to keep our space clean and orderly.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you make anyone feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

EMERGY MEDICAL CONSENT
If a serious medical concern arises during participation, Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, LLC and all related staff, class instructors, or contractors, may call 911 for emergency assistance. I understand that Inner Sanctuary is not responsible for the costs of any medical care or treatment.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Please read and acknowledge:
All ticket and class purchases are final. No refunds.
You may transfer your ticket to another person for the same event/class by emailing us at least 24 hours in advance.
If Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, LLC cancels an event/class, you will receive a full refund.
This policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE
I agree to take reasonable care while using the facilities, equipment, and property of Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, LLC. If I cause damage to the property through my actions or negligence, I agree to be responsible for the costs of repair or replacement.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of being allowed to participate in activities, classes, workshops, and use the facilities of Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, LLC, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, and personal representatives, agree to release and hold harmless Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, LLC, its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, volunteers, and the property owner from any and all claims or liability for:
Injury or illness (including death) arising from participation in yoga, meditation, sound healing, Reiki, or other activities, or use of the facilities and equipment.
Loss, theft, or damage of personal property.
I understand this release does not cover claims of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
I have read this waiver, fully understand it, and sign voluntarily. I acknowledge that by signing, I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue, to the fullest extent allowed under New Jersey law.

MARKETING PHOTOS
We occasionally take photos or short video clips during classes and events to share the spirit of our community. We will NEVER take photos without warning and consent, so please don’t worry about photos taken by surprise or if you are not prepared.

Yes – I consent to photos/videos of me being taken and used for marketing (social media, website, printed materials, marketing materials).
No – I do not consent to being photographed or recorded.

CONSENT FOR PHYSICAL TOUCH
At Inner Sanctuary Holistic Healing Center, we honor consent and personal boundaries. Sometimes instructors, teachers, or practitioners may offer light physical touch for posture/position correction, hands-on prompting to support skill development or prevent injury, Reiki practice, or gently waking someone who has fallen asleep.

Yes – I consent to light, respectful touch from instructors or practitioners as described.
No – I prefer not to receive any physical touch.
